A winter wonderland at The Square

Opening at Millennium Square on 6th December, alongside Après bar, Bump Rollerdisco and our Xmas Tipi Party, Squidsoup’s lightshow Submergence will present an immersive walkthrough experience for revellers visiting the square. Made up of thousands of suspended lights, it’s a space where virtual and physical worlds collide. Especially striking in the dark evenings of winter, it invites you to step inside to be part of its abstract narrative, creating tension and drama through light movement.

Created by Squidsoup – a UK-based international group of artists, technologists and designers – Submergence has been showcased at locations including London, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Adelaide, as well as at Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert. We’re proud to bring this out-of-this-world installation to Bristol for Wintertime at The Square.
