When Tarmac was acquired by CRH, Senior Vice President, Martin Riley, was determined to maintain the strong relationships that they had built with their key customers.

We have worked with PURE Co for a long time because they know our business and understand our industry. We are always looking for different events that are current and have parallels with the company.

PURE Co’s Managing Director has a very close working relationship with Tarmac and was keen to find ways of supporting the business at this important time of change. Having grown up surrounded by sport and sports personalities he recognised the parallels between what Tarmac was going through and the way that a sports manager might handle change within his team.

AN EVENT TO INSPIRE CHANGE

Jon suggested creating a very special private dining event for Martin’s management team and their core customers. A high-profile international rugby personality was to be invited to attend the dinner to share his experiences and suggest ways of embracing change in a positive way, and even using it to improve performance.

PURE Co came to us with an idea to set up an intimate dinner with a high -profile rugby personality and it was a perfect fit for us at the time. This was a high quality CRM event that aimed to help Tarmac build stronger relationships with strategic clients.

CREATING AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE

PURE Co chose Sexy Fish, a dynamic Japanese-inspired restaurant located in Mayfair as the venue. With its huge tanks of multi-coloured fish, exotic décor and exceptional cuisine this impressive venue provided the perfect environment for an important and intimate, private dining event.

PURE Co organised and managed the evening seamlessly and were on-hand throughout to ensure that everything ran smoothly. We also purchased England Rugby shirts which were signed and presented to the team at the end of the evening as a memento of this very special experience.

The event was an out-and-out success and definitely achieved its aim. Martin Riley was delighted with the outcome, he said;
