A very merry Xmas at Xmas Tipi Party

For winter 2019, we launched Xmas Tipi Party – a brand new, bespoke event for Christmas celebrations. Held at Millennium Square at the heart of Bristol, the tipis offered guests a warm, rustic reception, with a glass of fizz on arrival, a festive feast, live music and a bar stocked with local brands. Nestled among the other attractions at pop-up activation Wintertime at The Square, it was our very own winter wonderland near the waterfront.

Tailored touches

After coming across the Xmas Tipi Party website, a new client contacted us to exclusively hire the entire tipi for a private Christmas party for their staff. To make the night especially memorable, they requested some special touches, including a comedian and drinks tickets for staff that could be redeemed at the bar, which we arranged for them. A magical night of dinner, drinks and dancing followed, much to the delight of our guests.

An extraordinary experience

Not only did they think the food, from award-winning Bristol chef Conrad Jenkins, was outstanding, Rise found the event to be completely different from the ‘same old same old’ corporate Christmas parties they’d experienced before. “We had an excellent time – service, food and drinks were all brilliant. The venue was lovely and we felt very accommodated. We would definitely recommend to others and would love to come back!” says Alice Hulme, Recruitment Consultant at Rise Technical Recruitment.
