A 20th anniversary to remember

Saffery Champness is a top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Fiduciaries with offices across the globe. Over the years we’ve developed an excellent working relationship with the Bristol branch, delivering local events including a 200-person conference and gala dinner with entertainment. 

So when it came to organising a champagne reception to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Bristol office opening, they asked for our help.  

The perfect venue

Saffrey Champness had attended events at the Aston Martin showroom in Bristol before. With a guest list including some of Saffrey Champness's biggest clients, Aston Martin were happy to offer this unique venue to them again for their anniversary celebration. Set with their venue they asked us to arrange hospitality for the evening. 

Parking at the venue was a little further away than usual due to some ongoing construction work. As the event was held during the evening in December we hired a parking attending company to direct people when they arrived and supplied lighting along the walkways so people could easily and safely find their way to the champagne reception. We also made sure there was a ready supply of umbrellas for anyone arriving in the rain.  

A warm welcome and service with a smile 

Guests were greeted by a team of hostesses who kept everyone topped up with champagne and soft drinks throughout the evening.  

We know how Saffrey Champness like things to be done so it was important the food on the evening was exactly right. Saffrey Champness’s guests needed to be able to easily eat standing up with no mess and not be left holding any spoons or sticks they didn’t know what to do with. So elegant, simple after-work canapés were the perfect option. We arranged for canapés from Bristol’s award winning Papadeli to delight their guests with delicious, one-bite food that was easy to eat. 

There was also a special guest appearance from one of the season’s RedBull Formula 1 cars to create the perfect focal point in a showroom of astounding vehicles. 

The evening was a resounding success and the perfect way for Saffrey Champness to celebrate 20 years in Bristol.
